Question about cool mkv to mp4 converter?

i'm using it to convert an mkv file and it's a movie so it's been running for a few hours now

the original file is 2.48 GB and the new mp4 file it has created is currently 2.60 GB and going up



shouldn't it have finished now or can file size change during conversion?

well, im not familiar with your converter and i dont think it is cool. while i always use Pavtube Video Converter which can convert mkv to mp4 without quality loss. And it will show progress bar when conversion. U will know when it is finished from it. U can choose lower quality setting to make the file size smaller.

You can try some better video converter software that can tell you the target file size before converting, for exmple i am using RZ Video Converter, it can can convert mkv to mp4 too, and can tell me the target mp4 file size before converting, it even can custmize the target file video bitrate, lower bitrate lower size.
