hi i was wondering if anyone knows how to change the kb size in photoshop or if they could mension any freeware. i already have it saved as a jpeg and cant change the type or the demensions of the file please help!How to change the kb size on photoshop or any freeware?
When you save it a s a JPEG you will get a little dialog box that asks you what kind of compression you wish to apply to a particular image. The lower the number, the smaller the size of the image in kbs.
Click : File %26gt; Save As and choose JPEG from the format drop down box and click OK. On the next screen, reduce the number in the Image options box, try a 7 or a 8, under the word Preview on the right it will show you what the final size the file will be with those settings, if you have the option Preview checked it will show you what the image will look like after the compression. Once you are done click OK and you're done!
