How to change and external hard drives File system from Fat 32 to NTFS?

i have an 500GB external hard that i am going to be storing big video files on and i have just discovered that it wont let me save any file size over 4GB. SO i need to change the file to NTFS so i can store my files, but have no idea how to change the file system

Depends on OS, look for formatting drives on XP/Vista etc..



Programs like Partition Magic make it very easy to do.



Be surprised if you cant just right click on it, format and chose a file system that way.
