Need Help With Reducing Song Size, and changing format?

ive recorded a song on 'CakeWalk studios' and i saved it as a WAV. file, but its 24mb, and i want to put the song onto my myspace, but myspace only allows MP3s that are under 6mb

how do i change the WAV file to MP3, and how do i make the file size smaller?
