There are random files mixed in random places...it crashed my windows firewall and virus protection, its sending emails constantly last time i could go on my computer, and on some kind of pad there were German words...but I lost it...I kind of lost all control over my computer...also these random files are changing sizes rapidly...and it doesn't let me delete them...What type of virus is this and how to get rid of it?
Run your computer in safe mode. To do this, keep tapping F8 which will then allow you to choose what mode you want to boot into. Use your arrow keys and select Safe Mode. Then once your in, go to the internet and download MBAM. Website:http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php .This is a very powerful scanner and it kills viruses and malicious software as if they were ants. I use this scanner instead of my anti-virus because it is so good. Now after you installed it, update it and then do a full scan. Once finished there should be infections listed and remove them all! Then restart your computer and boot up normally and everything should be fine.

I have tried to upload a document to a printer and they have said that the PDF compatibility level is too high. Supported PDF versions are PDF 1.3 and PDF 1.4 (Acrobat 4, 5 and 6).
It appears to have been saved in Acrobat 7. I do not have a full version of Adobe to convert it.

Can i resize pic but keep clarity?
I took alot of pics in large quality only now i want to send some in email and possibly get 4x6s printed but when the pic is small it looks distorted and the straight lines are very jagged. U can tell theres too much detail for the pic to be that small. When u enlarge it, it looks fine. So, is thre a way to change the file size and make it smaller but keep the clarity? Heres an example. When u go there, notice the whiskers. then click the pic and it will make it bigger and notice them then. Its alot more clear. How do i fix this? Can i fix this? Help lol.

Yes there is a way to keep the clarity. It's always good to have pictures with that much resolution, the more information the better.
What needs to be done depends on the software and photoediting programs that you will be using.
In photoshop, for example, open the photo, open the image size menu, make sure you have the keep in proportion option checked. Check on 6 for the h eight and the width should get close to 4. Now drop the resolution down to 177 and close that menu and choose the save as under file and save the photo to a different folder and give a name. The reason f or doing is to keep the original just in case you want to make a larger version of the photo. From the size that it's being saved to you would never be able to enlarge to a decent size without getting distortion so that's why you want to save as and give the photo a different name or simply save as a copy.

What I see as I zoom in and out os a conflict between the resolution of your image and my monitor. If you step this up and down one percent at the time, the %26quot;fuzziness%26quot; in the whiskers changes position with every step, but the very tip of each whisker remains rather sharp.
Experiment and see what magnifications work best. For instance, 50% is pretty sharp, but 51% is horrible.
When I try various crops of your image (4x6, 5x7, etc.) they are ALL just as sharp when viewed at 100%, even though the ppi are all over the place.

The picture is a JPEG, but the file doesn't say whether or not it's a k. The file is 1.70 MB. Is this smaller or larger than 300k? Questions about converting .ogm and other video files into smaller file size and kbps?
I actually have 2 questions:
1. I want to burn my .ogm files into CD-Rs (and not into DVD-Rs) but I want to resize them to say, smaller resolution (maybe 320x240 is okay) or smaller file quality (just more than 64 kbps), but I want to maintain the dual-audio. How do I do it?
2. And for general video files: do you know any free video converter that does the job? I use Total Video Converter and I'd say it really minimizes the file size (from a 170mb .avi file to just 50mb). However the quality is limited to 64kbps, and I cannot change the settings.

You can do this very easily, and I think (not positive) even in batches with Picasa2, free from Google/ This is a great program for organizing and sharing photos.

use any picture viewer program - you might have one already on your computer or even PAINT. You can just %26quot;resize%26quot; the pictures. I normally resize to about 30% or 40% of the original size and it's perfect for viewing and lower memory. What Sarka... says is true, most software programs have an edit viewer of some type. The problem I'm having is with the enlargement protocol of the viewer. It states that the photo stays the same size, while the enlarged section is filled in with a plain background-color. Well, THat I understand because that's %26quot;exactly%26quot; what it does. What I don't understand is..... why?!?
Anyway, I prefer online editors for just about everything I do. They are versatile, and can be accessed from any puter... anywhere. The .jpeg(.jpg) format works best when storing photos online, the compressed files save space, load faster, all without any significant loss in the quality of the image's pi(x)cture.

Photoshop CS2 - I have been using Elements 5.0. Need help adjusting.?
On Elements I had the 'holding tank' at the bottom to see images that I opened and could drag them into a new document. How do I do this on CS2? Everytime I open a new image, it's in a new window. When I try to drag it from one window to the new document, it doesn't fit or let me resize it. I'm trying to make an 8x10 image fit for a 5x7. I try to resize the 8x10 image, but when I save it and upload to print from a printing service, but they end up cropping my image. Any suggestions? you can get more help in the adobe folder in your program files folder where there will be a pdf file for training.
