Changing photo file size for Nikon Coolpix S230?

So I just recently bought this camera, and i put it up on iPhoto, and when I tried to put a photo on facebook, it said the file size is too large, so how do I change it without having to buy special programs?!Changing photo file size for Nikon Coolpix S230?
Make a copy of the image onto your PC.



Open up Paint



Select Image %26gt; Stretch/Skew (CTRL-W)



Change the Horizontal and Vertical percentages to something less than 100%. Then save the file with a new name



Start with 50% for each and see if that is small enough, you may need to make it quite a bit smaller if you took a picture @ 8MP and a website requires file sizes less than 1MB.Changing photo file size for Nikon Coolpix S230?
i suppose you haven't change the image default size (3648). try taking pictures that are smaller like 1024 by:

taping MENU%26gt;IMAGE MODE and then scroll down to PC SCREEN (1024)
